Veteran Support


Gilbert’s Mission is a program developed by Jayla’s Community Outreach, committed to supporting veterans in our community by providing essential services. Services include providing eligible veterans with food assistance, one time emergency rental payments to prevent eviction, one time emergency utility payments to prevent shut off, hygiene products, and various support services tailored to meet their unique needs.


Through Gilbert's Mission, we aim to create a supportive community that empowers our heroes to regain stability and rebuild their lives. We understand that many veterans face challenges upon returning to civilian life, and we are here to help ease those burdens. At JCO, we believe that veterans should not have to navigate these hardships alone. Our mission is to ensure that those who have bravely served our country receive the care and support they deserve. We invite veterans in Maricopa County to take advantage of this initiative and reach out for available assistance.

 


To apply for support through Gilbert's Mission, please complete the application by clicking on the Veteran Assistance Application link below. The completed and signed application may be submitted with supporting documentation by email at Gilbertsmission@jaylashome.com or by mail at P.O. Box 1416 Chandler AZ 85244. Please submit application with a copy of your state ID or Driver's License and DD214. Incomplete application packages will not be considered. Please allow up to 7 business days for processing and follow up after application package submission. A member of our team will reach out via telephone or email to discuss your application status and advise of next steps.
